The
Department of Defense desires to PKI enable applications that support
strategic and sustaining worldwide operations. As a result, Army
Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM) initiated information

Data gathered from this program is being used for implementations
of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) on tactical platforms.
