Founded in 1990, AQC has a sixteen-year history of experience in engineering design and system integration, primarily for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Department of Defense, and numerous other clients. AQC’s core competencies are in telecommunications engineering and design, quality assurance testing, and distance learning. AQC is part of the Prince George’s County (Maryland) ISO 9000 Consortium and is working toward ISO 9000:2001 certification in 2007.

AQC's Navy experience includes procuring, installing, and configuring Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) equipment for the Office of Naval Research. Tasks included:

• Installing HP Open View Network management software and ForeView software on a Sun network management station.
• Configuring software and management station for proper operation.
• Performing initial population of network management database.
• Providing the Government with a written report containing network management station configuration.
• Powering up and operate hardware for sufficient time to ensure that all components are operational and functional.

For FISC San Diego, AQC performed a complete and accurate "wall-to-wall" inventory/survey of every personal computer, peripheral device, network/LAN printer, and all software that resides on each personal computer at all FISC San Diego sites. Areas included in the survey were training rooms/conference rooms located at each FISC San Diego site. Also, information was obtained from the user as to whether or not they had a "work-issued" personal computer/laptop and/or peripherals at home.
