Personnel
Security applies a set of standards from the applicable government
agency to those individuals proposed for access to facilities and
information; develops standards for non-governmental organizations;
maintains databases on clearances and accesses; provides and documents
initial, continuing, and terminal education, training and awareness
activities that explain individual obligations, responsibilities,
and duties; maintains appropriate personnel security files; receives
and possesses post association reports; and administers an appropriate
continuing evaluation program.
Under
our Technology Integration Center (TIC) contract for DARPA, we
operate and maintain the 49,000 square foot TIC. Among many of
the TIC’s support requirements, we provide the planning
and management for the administration of the TIC including screening
for security eligibility/status; providing certification of such
eligibility/status to third parties; evaluating collected data
against established standards; providing continuous security awareness
training; and allocating personnel to staff the facility operation.
We provide the full suite of personnel security support for nearly
one thousand DARPA employees and affiliated contractor staff.
This suite includes initial, recurring and specialized briefings.
We also process a very large number of national and international
visit requests for DARPA personnel and for visitors to DARPA facilities.
