To support the development, integration, and maintenance of the Mortgage Backed Securities Information System (MBSIS) to assist GNMA in managing its entire investment portfolio.

Solution

Our staff delivered ADP services, including:

• Software Conversion/Downsizing Support—assisted with the transition or conversion of MBSIS procedures, data, and archival files
• System Administration and Communications Support—supported the administration of the UNIX-RISC platforms and the local area networking requirements
• Hardware/Software Procurement and Integration Services—pre-acquisition testing and services to support the migration of the application systems that comprise the MBSIS
• Software and Hardware Technical Support—maintained software licenses and hardware support services through the various hardware and software vendors whose products were used in this environment
• Computer Center Operations—supported bureau processing services necessary for the operation and execution of GNMA's Mortgage Backed Securities Information System (MBSIS), and computer operations on a 24-hour-per-day, seven-day-per-week basis; specific services included computer operations, production control, and training
