Chief Executive Officer
As founder and CEO of Maden Technologies, Omar Maden oversees all aspects of the company's operations.
In 1966, Omar was drafted into the United States Army. During his 20 years of service, he served combat duty in Vietnam and received several combat awards, including the Purple Heart. He served as Deputy Director of the Tactical Air Control Systems/Tactical Air Defense Systems, Joint Interface Task Force—a joint research and development program aimed at standardizing command and control systems for the military. Omar also spent four years at the Pentagon and served as the United States delegate to the NATO Allied Data Systems Interoperability Agency in Brussels, Belgium. In 1986, he retired from active military service and founded Maden Technologies.
Omar graduated magna cum laude from Park University in Kansas City, Missouri, where he majored in Economics, Political Science, and Spanish. His graduate studies include Political Science at Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Information Systems Management at the University of Southern California.
Omar is a recipient of the Northern Virginia Urban League's Special Community Service Award (1998), the Northern Virginia Urban League's Corporate Award for Excellence (1995), and the Entrepreneur of the Year Award (1994) from the Washington, D.C., Chapter of the National Black MBA Association, Inc. He has been featured in articles appearing in The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, and Park University Alumniad.
Away from the office, Omar is an avid golfer who enjoys traveling, collecting art, and listening to jazz.
Chief Technology Officer & VP of IT Solutions
As Chief Technology Officer, Tommy Osborne leads the evaluation of emerging information technologies, product development and quality assurance. As VP of IT Solutions, he manages the delivery of standards-compliant, high-reliability IT services and solutions to Federal and commercial clients and to corporate users.
Tommy's U.S. Army career included assignment as Army Materiel Command CIO. He served on the Joint Staff, Headquarters Department of the Army Staff, and commanded Signal units through the brigade level.
Tommy has a Bachelor and Master Degree of Science in Chemistry from Prairie View A&M University, a certificate in information technology from the University of Virginia, and held fellowships at the National War College and Harvard's Center for International Affairs. He is ITIL® certified, has managed multiple IT programs, and is a leader in information, futurist, and military professional societies.
As Controller, Anna Bielecki supports the financial analysis of operations to maintain profitability and ensure organizational compliance with Government regulations. Anna has 27 years’ experience in the accounting and financial arena. She has worked across various industries, including banking, real estate, information technology, manufacturing, retail, and non-profit.
In her accounting practice, Anna has worked in numerous positions, including Vice President of Finance, Controller, and Financial Director. Her extensive experience includes managing account functions for multiple clients; serving in supervisory positions; preparing reports and statements; managing Human Resources and Legal Contracts departments; and handling Accounts Payables, billings, rates, revenue calculations, and audits. Anna holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Politechnika Swietokrzyska in Poland, and an MBA from Averett University in Virginia. She is also a Certified Fraud Examiner.
Anna is fluent in Polish and Russian and enjoys gardening and traveling. She occasionally rewards her coworkers with her delicious home-grown tomatoes and greens.
Shelia Parker joined Maden Technologies earlier this year. She brings more than 40 years of progressive experience in Contracts, Human Resources, Sourcing, and Finance/Accounting, including 15 years at Lockheed Martin. Responsible for the development, implementation, and administration of contract administration, management, negotiation, and compliance, Shelia has detailed, hands-on knowledge of Federal and commercial procurement regulations, DCAA, DCMA, and CAS requirements, and various contract types. Sheila holds a Bachelor of Science in business and management from University of College Park, Maryland, and a Master of Business & Public Administration in finance from Southeastern University in Washington, DC.
Human Resources Manager
Sharon Subalusky is a recent addition to the Maden Technologies family who is charged with overseeing every aspect of our HR program. With more than 20 years of experience in the Federal contracting arena, she is an accomplished HR professional with proven abilities in establishing lasting client relationships and delivering outstanding results. She has worked at both large and small firms as a Senior Benefits Manager, Senior Technical Recruiter, EEO/AA Officer, and Facility Security Officer. Sharon earned her Bachelor Degree from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, and a Masters Degree in HR and employee and labor relations from Penn State University. She keeps current on HR matters through periodic certification coursework and SHRM educational offerings.
